Many years ago, I used your work in my doctoral dissertation about the expectations of Mutlicultural Ed (ME). I found that there were multiple terms for ME, and that some of the changes over time were due to avoiding the red flags associated with ME. Is changing the term for DEIA in order to keep a program a survival tactic or an acquiescence?

I wonder if hypothetical hiring of someone with a “black” name would improve if their competition was a white person named Abdul or Abdullah or Cohen or Goldberg
